You will be guided to explore a variety of materials and media, to include acrylic paint, graphite, and India ink along with a variety of other materials, learning new techniques and processes that will inspire and give you the creative confidence to develop your own visual language.

We are looking for : Visual Artists / Illustrators /  Animators /  Creative Producers / Graphic Designers / Crafts people and Writers who are looking to evolve their creative practice and positively contribute to a creative community.

 

They will have access to Creative Lab as their working space plus first hand opportunities to work on / or assist with live commissions alongside founding Artist Venessa Scott. These opportunities include mural projects and installations. There are also further opportunities available which involve working on large scale creative projects in custodial and secure settings. However, the primary goal of the residency is to evolve their own creative practice and contribute positively to the Creative Lab community.
